Job Title: Marketing Lead (First Marketing Hire)

About Lantern: Lantern’s Data + AI platform helps revenue teams accelerate pipeline creation. Our workflows automate manual tasks and make external data truly actionable. Our most popular workflow, Champion Chaser, automates tracking of job changes and has helped revenue teams grow pipeline by 9% and increase win rates by 26%. We recently raised our Series A (not announced yet), marking an exciting phase of growth and expansion.

Role Overview:  As the first marketing hire, you will have a unique opportunity to shape and drive our marketing efforts from the ground up. This role is perfect for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited about the challenge of building and executing marketing strategies from scratch. You will work closely with David, our founder, and Scott, our COO to form positioning and messaging strategy, design and implement growth channel experiments, and build foundational brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct foundational research on our target personas
• Own messaging and positioning strategy
• Rapidly design and execute end-to-end growth channel experiments with minimal guidance.
• Analyze market feedback and iterate on strategies to optimize growth channels.
• Build foundational brand awareness
• Improve website SEO and social presence
• Represent Lantern at conferences and in-person events

• Strong ability to design and execute marketing experiments and campaigns.
• Excellent analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel and represent Lantern at industry events.
