Role Overview: As a forward deployed engineer at Lantern, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers are delighted with our product and are achieving their desired outcomes. You will be responsible for understanding what customers want to achieve, and turning that into a reality by building out workflows for them in the Lantern product. This is a phenomenal role for someone who is looking to get their foot in the door to software engineering at a fast-growth startup.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer curiosity: Deeply understand what our customers are trying to achieve.
• Customer activation: Building out and testing customer workflows in the Lantern product to turn customer’s goals into reality.
• Problem solving: Coming up with solutions to issues that arise as customers are using the platform.
• Value engineering: Find ways to deepen the value customers are receiving from the Lantern product.
• Identify and build features that would enable us to improve the product

• Customer activation timelines
• How much value customers are getting out of the product

Must haves:

• Undergraduate or masters degree in computer science.
• Experience working in SQL and Python.
• Collaborative and solution-oriented mindset.
